THE STORY OF THE AFFIX
After months of trying to come up with a suitable kennel name looking in all sorts of books for inspiration, we were looking in one of my father's horse racing books and came across a horse named 'Nearctic'.
Nearctic was an equine aristocrat. Tall, proud and true to his regal heritage, he could run a hole in the wind. About 75% of thoroughbred foals born in the spring of 2001 boast Nearctic in their bloodlines. The worlds leading sires - Northern Dancer,Sadler's Wells, Storm Cat, Danzig to name but a few.
After reading Nearctic's story we decided that this was the name we would submit to the Kennel Club and 1994 our affix was granted and the story of NEARCTIC DOBERMANNS began........
