ZARLEON HEAVEN SCENT ~ "Rio" ~ The story of how we obtained Rio is told on the About us page ~ Rio is on every pedigree of every dog we have ever produced thats how important she was and is in our breeding programme. She produced two Show Champions that you can read about elsewhere on this site.
Rio was Alpha bitch and had the respect of all of our dobies that she lived with at the time. Her behaviour was impeccable she seemed to instinctively know what you wanted from her. She was Ian's special girl ~ she would do anything for him.
Rio was the youngest bitch ever to take a Reserve CC/ Reserve Best Bitch at a Championship show when she was only 6 months and 1 week old. This was the first Championship show she had attended as you cannot show a dog at a Kennel Club event until they are 6 months old. When she reached the Limit Classes we decided to breed from her ~ without Rio we wouldn't have the kennel we have today.

JOWENDYS HOOLIGAN ~ "Mea" ~ Hooligan by name and Hooligan by nature ~ that was our Mea she was easy to live with most of the time and she loved people but she had a naughty streak and would get angry with other dogs when they hadn't done anything wrong. Mea produced a wonderful set of puppies when she was mated to our own Miyagi (Nearctic Big in Japan) one of whom was Benson ( Ch Nearctic Nick the Biscuit) as a result of this she is on the pedigree of many dobermanns in the ring today ~ She loved living in our outside kennel with her daughter Lucy and until we lost her at the age of ten they were inseperable. Lucy went on to live until she was 13.
