CHAMPION NEARCTIC HIGH TREASON OF SHAGRAAN Handled to his crown by Ian and Fran

Chance was a special dog in many ways, he was bred by ourselves out of two of our own dogs. There are not many dogs that gain their crown where both parents carry the same affix.

He loved the show ring and always gave a great performance it took a while to get his Champion title mainly due to the fact that he kept getting second to the top winning dog of the time but with persistance it did happen and what a glorious day that was the cheer of the crowd we will never forget and Ian's celebration afterwards was a sight also!!!

We lost Chance suddenly at 7 years old, this devasted us and his owners Mick and Fran Cammoile, none of us have truely recovered from his loss he had just entered the veteran classes and was doing wonderful in them and the Champion Stakes classes but it wasn't mean't to continue God decided that he wanted him for Crufts in heaven.

We thank Mick and Fran with all our hearts for taking such good care of Chance whilst he was here and lets hope that our second journey with you and Jon-jo is as sweet.

It has taken some time for me to be able to write this paragraph (over 2 years) but I sadly report the loss of Mick also. Mick passed away in his sleep the evening of the Darlington Champ show which shocked us all.Franny has done a fantastic job to rebuild a life for herself and is busy building the dream home that her and Mick had planned together. We wish her well and look forward to the house warming. lots of love from your Nearctic family.
