MOLLY WAS THE FIRST DOBERMANN BITCH WITH A FULL TAIL TO WIN A FIRST AT CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW LEVEL AND THEREFORE THE FIRST EVER TO QUALIFY FOR CRUFTS.
WE ARE VERY PROUD OF THIS ACHIEVEMENT AS MOLLY AND HER BROTHER JACK DID THIS IN A DIFFICULT TIME WHEN NO OTHER DOBERMANNS WITH FULL TAILS HAD APPEARED IN THE RING.
Molly (Nearctic Xiaolin Showdown) is a super girl with a lovely character she has made a great impact on our family and is loved by all of our dogs. Molly and Jess are great friends and we nickname them Scooby and Scrapydoo. They love nothing better than chasing each other around the patio table much to Daniel's amusement.
Molly is our first full tailed dobermann and certainly won't be our last. She carries her tail with such pride and is always wagging it.
We feel that in order to keep the dobermann looking alert and noble it is essential that they carry their tails up and not down like a greyhound. The dobermann carrying its tail down looks sad and suppressed this is surely not the way a companion guard should look??
At Molly's first two appearances at Championship show level she attained third in Minor Puppy bitch qualifing for Crufts 2008 and at her second she won the class being the first dobermann full tailed puppy to win a class at champ show level. Molly has now won Minor puppy , puppy, junior and graduate classes at championship shows. Thanks to all those in the breed and from other breeds who have been so encouraging and positive.
Molly will be away from the show ring for a while on maternity duties but we hope that she will make a return to the ring afterwards.
